Mobile Banking

Standard Chartered Mobile Key (SC Mobile Key) binds to the SC Mobile app of your frequently used mobile phone. From now on, you will need the SC Mobile Key in order to perform sensitive / high risk transactions through Online or Mobile Banking which require transaction signing with an unique 6-digit PIN defined by you, such as:

  • Adding a new payee
  • Increasing your daily transfer limits to transfer funds or make payments above a defined threshold
  • Updating personal details, such as mailing address, email address etc.

Seamless Experience

It securely authenticates your login and transactions on the Standard Chartered Mobile app, without the need for One Time Passwords (OTP) via SMS.

If you use Online Banking on your desktop, you will only need your Standard Chartered Mobile app to authenticate your login from your registered mobile device; or authenticate transaction by your 6-digit PIN.

Readily Available

Standard Chartered Mobile Key is able to generate offline PIN even when you do not have data or mobile network connectivity.

Offline Mode

If you need to perform desktop transactions, Standard Chartered Mobile Key can work even when you do not have data or mobile network connectivity. You can still generate your OTP and do transaction signing in offline mode when you are performing online banking transactions on your computer.

  • Your daily transaction limit is only VND 50 million; and
  • You can make maximum VND 10 million/ transaction type/ day; and
  • You cannot transfer overseas.

No, the registration is immediately triggered when you log in SC Mobile Banking app in your mobile device.

You can transact in both Online Banking or Mobile Banking app at your preference.

  • If you prefer Mobile Banking app in your registered mobile device, you can transact easily without SMS OTP requirement.
  • If you prefer to transact in Online Banking of web browser or non-registered device, you only need to key in authentication codes generated by SC Mobile Key in your registered device.

At any moment, you can have only 1 registered mobile device. Whenever you change your device, you can choose to register SC Mobile Key in the new phone.
