Two Noble Causes, One Mountain

Many men have gone up and down the Everest, carrying with them, their own personal goals and dreams. The Horacios are climbing Everest to clear it of its trash, while Daniel Hughes is climbing Everest to try and raise a million pounds for Comic Relief, a major charity based in the UK, which strives to create a just world free from poverty.

Breeze Expedition meets Red Nose

Just last weekend, while getting ready for the weather window to summit, the Horacios bumped into Daniel Hughes. Daniel is looking to stick Comic Relief’s iconic Red Nose, its very first, on top of the Everest, while the Horacios are looking to attempt the highest banking transaction on Earth and clear the way of rubbish as they make their way down. It was a serendipitous meeting of two causes – one to eradicate poverty, and the other, to eradicate environmental trash.
