This policy is designed to cover personal effects that can be worn or carried on a person on or away from the residential property against accidental loss or damage Specified Items: Items such as cell phones, spectacles, laptops, pads, jewellery, golf clubs etc. should be specified if cover is required. Unspecified Items (General Items):
Clothing and personal effects normally worn or designed to be carried on or by the person
Personal equipment normally worn or used by the person but excluding damage occurring whilst playing sport.

House Owners
This policy provides cover for private residential structures of your home, outbuildings, Perimeter walls, gate, swimming pools, sauna baths, and landlord’s fixtures and fittings against damage.
Householders
This policy provides cover for loss or damage to domestic contents and personal effects belonging to the Insured whilst in private dwelling houses against damage.
Personal All Risks
This policy is designed to cover personal effects that can be worn or carried on a person on or away from the residential property against accidental loss or damage.
Details
Claims
a) Immediate notification of claims quoting the policy number, brief circumstances of the loss estimated cost of the claim and any supporting documents. b) Any possible claim against the insurer should be notified as soon as possible or at the latest within 30 days of occurrence/ discovery. c) Clients must be advised of turnaround period d) Claims settlement will be based on replacement value.
Policy Cancellations
The customer may cancel the policy at any given time and premium will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for the remaining period provided there is still more than 30 days to expiry.
This insurance policy is underwritten by Old Mutual. The insurance coverage that this policy provides shall be at all times subject to the terms and conditions of the policy contract issued by Old Mutual. Standard Chartered Bank shall not be responsible for Old Mutual's actions or decisions under the policy contract nor shall Standard Chartered Bank be liable regarding payment of claims or services under the policy contract issued by Old Mutual.
