Policy termination Rules
The Life Plan will terminate:
On the death of the Life Assured
If the premium payment rules are violated
On the Policyholder’s request for cancellation. OM can also cancel contract.
On expiry of the term of the policy.
Claims underwriting
A certificate of a medical attendant report from the client’s medical doctor will be requested for death within constable period of 3 years. This will seek to ensure that:
The claim is valid
The waiting period had passed, for Untested business
There was no case of non-disclosure of an illness that led to death of life assured
Claimant must produce:
Original copy of contract
Claim form
Original death certificate
Police report if accident death
Claimant’s ID
