Ecocash Banking Services Terms and Conditions

  1. I hereby certify that all the information provided is correct and authorize Standard Chartered Bank Limited Zimbabwe (“The Bank”) to use the information contained herein to process and register the mobile line and the bank account in the Ecocash Banking Services Platform.
  2. I hereby indemnify Standard Chartered Bank Limited Zimbabwe (“The Bank”) against any losses, claims, damages, whether direct, special or consequential, howsoever and when so ever arising as a result of a failure of mobile equipment, Ecocash Banking Services being offline or unavailable for any reason, the mobile phone number provided being incorrect, account number provided  being incorrect, unlawful or unauthorised access to my mobile phone by another person(s), delays in Ecocash Banking Services or direct or indirect losses which the Bank could not reasonably have foreseen.
  3. The Ecocash Pin number used to access any other Ecocash Services shall be the same used to access Ecocash Banking Services and I agree that the Bank shall not be liable under any circumstances whatsoever should I disclose the PIN Number to a third party.

The above terms and conditions shall be read together with any other Ts & Cs as they appear on the Ecocash User Registration Form and Bank Account Opening form and any other Ecocash Services guidelines as advised by Ecocash &/or the Bank from time to time as well as the Bank’s relevant product and client terms which may be found at
  5. The Bank reserves the right, from time to time, to review and or amend the terms and conditions applicable to the use of Ecocash Services and shall advise Ecocash registered Users of those changes accordingly.
