Corporate Affairs

Standard Chartered Bank's reputation is one of our most valuable assets. Our Corporate Affairs team is responsible for protecting and building the reputation of the bank. Our reputation encourages more customers to choose to bank with us, staff to work with us, regulators and governments to grant us new branch and product licences enabling the group to deliver shareholder value.

No day is ever the same in Corporate Affairs. You could be, writing a speech for the Chairman, handling media enquiries, promoting a sponsorship, supporting the business launch a new product, explaining the Group's financial results to shareholders, working with Non-Government Organizations on our Seeing is Believing initiative which involves restoring eyesight to 10 million people across 20 countries or preparing a communications plan for senior management ahead of a major announcement.
