2 Migration
Why do I need to migrate to the new platform?

Straight2Bank NextGen is the latest corporate online banking platform offered by Standard Chartered, building on product richness in existing Straight2Bank.

Straight2Bank NextGen aspires to become the single digital platform - offering clients touch points on all of Standard Chartered's products and services. The objective is to further empower client access on a market differentiated and client-centric platform, which will lay a strong foundation to support our client’s future growth.

What is the migration selection criterion and can I choose to opt-out or defer the migration?

The migration will adopt a phased approach and clients are screened for suitability for migration, based on their existing profiles & functional requirements as compared to the existing capabilities available in Straight2Bank NextGen.

There is no option to opt-out of the migration as all clients will be required to migrate onto the new platform to ensure clients benefit from the continued development of new product features and security enhancements in Straight2Bank NextGen.

Can user still keep their existing Straight2Bank access and at the same time access Straight2Bank NextGen?

No. Migrated users can only login to the new Straight2Bank NextGen. Access to the existing Straight2Bank will be discontinued after migration.

What will happen to user’s existing transaction details & user profiles in the existing Straight2Bank?

All client data on access profile, company setup, preferences and in-flight transaction will be migrated to Straight2Bank NextGen 2 weeks before the cut-over date.

If you encounter any changes to access privileges or missing data, please contact our colleagues at your usual contact center hotline.

Will I still have access to historic user activity and audit info? Would this information be migrated as I would require to provide 12 months history of audit.

We would recommend clients download a copy of user activity and audit information prior to Straight2Bank migration, or alternatively you could contact the customer support hotline to request your user activity report.

Historical account and payment transaction details up to 90 days will be migrated and available in Straight2Bank NextGen. However, there will be a new report format as the reporting function has been further enhanced in Striaght2Bank NextGen.

Will all the payment templates be migrated regardless of the template status (incomplete, pending approval and approved)?

No. Only completed and approved payment templates will be migrated to Straight2Bank NextGen.

Can we make changes to the system before migration as we would like to update our user list, signatories and approval matrix?

Yes. You can still perform the change request up to 1 week prior to migration. However, it is recommended to avoid making any changes to the user list, signatories and approval matrix during the migration period.

Will Straight2Bank become inaccessible during the migration period? How long the blackout period would be?

Client migration activities will only be carried out on Saturdays. During the migration window period, the existing Straight2Bank will be inaccessible. Clients will be advised of the migration period as appropriate prior to actual migration date.

Can a client with multiple accounts/ companies in different territories be migrated to Straight2Bank NextGen at the same time?

As the migration will be conducted on a phased approach which is dependent on the rollout timing for your country and the functional requirements of the client, a client with multiple accounts/companies in different territories may not have all their accounts migrated to Straight2Bank NextGen at the same time.
