Standard Chartered Poland partners with leading technology, business services and cybersecurity events
on July 14, 2026Over the past weeks, Standard Chartered Poland has partnered with three important industry events that brought together leaders, experts, innovators and talent from across cybersecurity, technology, and modern business services. Our presence at CONFidence, Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit and ABSL Summit reflected the commitment to sharing expertise, supporting diverse talent, and contributing to conversations shaping the future of business and technology in Poland.
Strengthening cybersecurity expertise at CONFidence
In May, we were the Technology Partner of the 26th edition of CONFidence in Cracow. As one of Poland’s leading cybersecurity conferences, the event gathered more than 2,200 experts from around the world for lectures, hands-on sessions and case studies.
Our participation highlighted Standard Chartered’s cybersecurity capabilities in Poland and gave our experts space to discuss emerging threats and connect with the wider security community. In total, 30 representatives attended, taking this opportunity to exchange knowledge, network and collaborate with cybersecurity professionals.
Standard Chartered experts were also listed on the conference agenda as speakers, sharing practical perspectives on automation, AI-enabled security operations, impersonation threats and global fraud networks.
Supporting women and diverse talent in technology at Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit
On 10–11 June, we joined the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit in Warsaw, Europe’s largest conference and career fair for women in IT, tech and STEM. This year’s edition welcomed more than 12,000 participants from 57 countries under the theme “Unleash new energy”.
More than 50 attending colleagues contributed to panels, technical talks, workshops, mentoring, networking and conversations at our booth. Our experts shared perspectives on sustainable leadership, cybersecurity, career development, inclusion and the evolving role of technology.
Our presence also created opportunities to connect with talented professionals interested in careers with Standard Chartered in Poland through mentoring, recruitment conversations and the engagement of the Pride Colleague Community.
Contributing to the future of business services at ABSL Summit
We were also a partner of this year’s ABSL Summit, held under the theme “Know the unknown”. The event brought together over 1,500 C-level leaders from business, public administration, academia and modern business services to discuss uncertainty, transformation and future-ready capabilities.
The participation reinforced Standard Chartered’s role as a growing competence hub in Poland, delivering strategic, knowledge-intensive capabilities and contributing to the sector-wide conversation on the future of financial services, technology and talent.
Our leaders joined discussions on the human capabilities needed in an AI-enabled world, skills-first organisations, and the shift of business services centres towards greater decision-making power and strategic influence. These contributions highlighted the importance of innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and responsible leadership.
