Darren Ellis appointed to the Standard Chartered Bank AG Supervisory Board

1 September 2026, Frankfurt – Standard Chartered Bank AG (SCB AG) today announces the appointment of Darren Ellis to its Supervisory Board, effective immediately. Darren joins the Supervisory Board as a Non‑Executive Director, expanding the Supervisory Board to eight members.

Darren Ellis is Chief Financial Officer, Europe & UK, Americas, Africa & Middle East at Standard Chartered. A Chartered Accountant by training, Darren has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and has held senior finance leadership roles at Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Barclays and Deloitte.  Darren joined the bank in 2020, and is based in London.
