Standard Chartered supports EUR 210 million financing for VIRTUS Data Centres’ Marienpark Data Centre Campus in Berlin
2 days ago5 February 2026, London, UK / Frankfurt, Germany – Standard Chartered is pleased to announce its role as Mandated Lead Arranger and Hedging Bank in the EUR210 million bespoke financing facility for VIRTUS Data Centres’ (VIRTUS) Marienpark Data Centre Campus in Berlin, Germany.
The new campus will feature four purpose-built data centre buildings, delivering up to 57.6 MW of IT capacity across 19,000 square meters of highly resilient technical space at full build-out. Designed for scale and flexibility, the campus will support the continued growth of hyperscale customers while also meeting the needs of government and enterprise clients with secure, high-performance and future-ready data centre solutions.
VIRTUS is a leading provider of data centres across Europe, with data centres strategically located in three key markets: London (UK), Berlin (Germany) and Milan (Italy). It is part of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres’ (STT GDC) global platform that operates in 12 geographies, with a portfolio of more than 100 data centres and over 2GW of IT load across over 20 major business markets – providing purpose-built and carrier-neutral facilities that focus on energy efficiency and flexibility to meet customers’ requirements.
