Standard Chartered appoints Saif Malik as CEO, UK and Regional Head, Client Coverage, UK & Europe

Standard Chartered announces that it has appointed Saif Malik as CEO, UK and Regional Head, Client Coverage, UK & Europe where he will lead the management and development of corporate and financial institution client relationships for the region.

Saif continues to be based in London and will report to Paul Skelton, Global Head, Client Coverage and Torry Berntsen, CEO Europe and Americas.

Saif joined Standard Chartered in 2006 and has held various leadership roles across the client business spanning Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to his appointment as Head of Client Coverage UK, Saif was Global Head of Global Subsidiaries, where he oversaw Standard Chartered’s relationship banking services to subsidiaries of multinational corporates across our network.
