Standard Chartered supports EUR1.1 billion refinancing of pan‑European renewable energy platform
2 days ago5 May 2026 – London, UK. Standard Chartered announces that it has acted as Original Initial Bank Facilities Arranger, Original Initial Bank Facilities Lender and Hedge Counterparty on a EUR1.1 billion pan‑European refinancing for Reden Solar, a leading European renewable energy platform.
The refinancing transaction enables Reden to create a more streamlined and flexible funding framework to support near-term expansion of its operating portfolio of solar and energy storage assets, by establishing a pan-European platform which supports operational efficiency and agility, strengthening Reden’s ability to execute on their strategy.
Philippe Tabouis, Head of Infrastructure and Development Finance Group, Europe, Standard Chartered, said: “This transaction reflects Standard Chartered’s ability to support large‑scale, pan‑European infrastructure platforms with financing structures that match the long‑term nature of contracted renewable assets. Platform‑level solutions such as this are increasingly important for clients operating diversified portfolios across multiple jurisdictions.”
