Philippe Tabouis to lead Standard Chartered’s European Infrastructure and Development Finance Group

Paris, France  – 8 July 2025. Standard Chartered is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Tabouis as the new Europe Head of its Infrastructure and Development Finance Group. Based in Paris, France, Phillipe will lead the teams across our markets in Europe, serving the region’s project and infrastructure finance needs while supporting European clients in their projects across the world.

With 25 years of experience at Societe Generale, where he served as Head of Project and Export Solutions, Philippe brings deep expertise in structuring deals across multiple sectors and geographies.

In his new role, Philippe will focus on both regional European project and infrastructure finance opportunities and cross-border initiatives. He will foster partnerships with public and private financial institutions to support clients’ global ambitions.

Leveraging Standard Chartered’s global footprint and deep knowledge of diverse markets, Philippe and his teams will help the Bank leverage its access to both public and private liquidity pools. His leadership will be key in connecting commercial banks, development financing institutions, governments, and private investors to support sustainable growth across Europe and beyond.
