Standard Chartered supports landmark European CMBS financing of UK logistics portfolio

on February 4, 2026

4 February 2026, London, UK – Standard Chartered announces that it has supported the successful closing of the Sirius Logistics 2026-1 UK DAC, Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) transaction. Sirius represents the first European CMBS to close in 2026 and demonstrates continued strong investor appetite for high-quality asset financings.

The CMBS issuance was backed by an initial senior loan to Mileway, a Blackstone portfolio company, in November 2025. Standard Chartered acted as Joint Mandated Lead Arranger and Original Lender and the financing was secured against a portfolio of 126 last mile logistics & industrial assets.

Standard Chartered acted as Co-Arranger and Joint Lead Manager on the CMBS issuance, as well as Loan Seller, Risk Retention Provider and Liquidity Facility Provider. The transaction closed at GBP 500 million, following an upsize off the back of strong investor demand.

Shane Moore, Head of Commercial Real Estate, EMEA, Standard Chartered, said: “We are delighted to have supported the successful execution of this transaction. This financing reflects strong momentum in the European commercial real estate markets and demonstrates how well-structured logistics assets continue to attract capital, while also highlighting our ability to bring together commercial real estate and structured finance expertise to deliver effective financing solutions.”
