Pensions information

Standard Chartered employee pension information

Employees of Standard Chartered in the UK would likely be a member of the Standard Chartered Pension Fund (SCPF). To determine whether you were in the Defined Contribution (DC) or the Defined Benefit (DB) section of the SCPF (or both) you will need to know your service dates.

How do I know which Section I am in?

Defined Contribution (DC) Section
If you joined Standard Chartered after 1 July 1998, you would have been offered membership of the DC section of the Fund.
For more information please contact the DC Administrator – Standard Life

Defined Benefit (DB) Section
If you started working for Standard Chartered before 1 July 1998, you may have accrued a DB pension in the DB Section. This Section closed to future accrual in 2018 and if you continued to work for Standard Chartered you would have had the opportunity to accrue additional pension in the DC Section.
