Foreign Exchange

We offer a wide range of products in both developed and emerging currency markets, including spot and forward foreign exchange as well as foreign exchange derivatives, and provide appropriate solutions to meet clients’ currency risk hedging needs. In electronic trading, we provide a broad range of solutions, from proprietary platforms to third-party platforms and application programming interfaces (APIs), supporting swift trade execution across various financial products, including algorithmic trading. We are also a major clearer of US dollars, Hong Kong dollars, Singapore dollars and many other currencies. In addition to strong currency settlement capabilities, our extensive branch network enables us to provide powerful support for clients’ treasury and local business operations wherever they do business.

Rates and Credit

We offer a broad range of financial products in both developed and emerging markets, including interest rate derivatives and credit derivatives, and provide appropriate solutions to meet clients’ needs for hedging interest rate and credit risks. In securities-related businesses, we support clients’ funding and diversification of securities investment through securities lending and securities-backed lending transactions. We also offer a wide variety of investment products, ranging from structured products and loan asset sales to time deposits, helping clients manage their assets in line with their respective risk tolerance.

Commodities

We offer a wide range of financial products, including commodity derivatives linked to precious metals, base metals, fuels, agricultural products and emissions allowances, and provide appropriate solutions to meet clients’ needs for hedging risks arising from fluctuations in commodity prices.

Financing & Securities Services aims to provide securities industry participants with tailored solutions to meet their unique needs in the securities services domain. We provide direct custody services in 40 locations, primarily across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and through our international custody services, we also provide access to more than 60 markets in other regions, including the Americas and Europe.

Our core services include securities settlement and corporate actions through the Bank’s platform, as well as customizable reports designed to meet individual client requirements. We also provide clients with the latest market information on local markets.

In addition to custody services, we leverage our extensive business network in Asia and comprehensive commercial banking solutions to provide clients with the convenience of a full-service provider capable of meeting all their banking needs.
