Terms and Conditions

  1. The promotion period is from 2 July to 30 September 2016, both dates inclusive (the ‘Promotion Period’).
  2. The Offer is only applicable to selected clients who have received the promotion email (the "Eligible Client") from Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank").
  3. Eligible Client may be entitled to 1.2% subscription fee for all subscription transaction(s) completed through Online Unit Trust during Promotion Period.
  4. The Eligible Clients will be charged the prevailing subscription fee upon completion of the transaction. Upon successful verification by the Bank of eligibility to enjoy the Offer, a rebate amount being the difference between the prevailing subscription fees and 1.2% subscription fee will be credited to Eligible Clients’ sole name HKD account on or before 31 October 2016 in the following sequence: 1) Integrated Deposits Account, 2) Latest used Settlement Account, 3) Statement Account, 4) Passbook Account or 5) Current Account. The account with latest opening date will be selected if more than one account is found under the account type.
  5. For non-HK dollar denominated transactions, the transaction amount will be converted into Hong Kong dollars on the transaction date based on the relevant prevailing foreign exchange rate determined by the Bank for calculation of offer entitlement.
  6. The Offer is only applicable to Class A funds (funds with subscription fee charged upon purchase). Fund switching, Monthly Investment Plans and subscription through any other channel are NOT eligible for the offers.
  7. To be eligible for the subscription fee rebate, the Investment Fund Account and relevant settlement account must still be valid at the time when the subscription fee rebate is credited, otherwise the subscription fee rebate will be forfeited.
  8. Each of the banking products or services set out in the terms and conditions is subject to respective eligibility, application process and product terms and conditions. For further details, please contact our branch staff for assistance.
  9. The Bank reserves the right to alter or terminate the promotion and amend the applicable terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of disputes, the Bank’s decision shall be final and binding.
  10. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
