Welcome to the General Terms and FAQs of SCB Nigeria’s N2,000 Reward Referral Program. Simply invite family and friends to enjoy free banking on SC Mobile and we’ll give you N2,000 for each referral. It gets even better… when they refer other people, they will get rewarded too.

Who can refer people under the SCB N2,000 Reward Referral Program?

Every SCB Nigeria active account holder is eligible to refer their friends and family members.

How can I refer my friends and family?

Referring your friends and family is easy. Simply log in to your SC Mobile app, tap on the Menu selection and in the lower white refer box you will find your own unique Referral Code. Share this code with the people you want to refer and urge them to use your code when they are opening their own account via the SC Mobile Nigeria app.

Who can I refer to open an SCB Account?

You can refer anyone to download the SC Mobile Nigeria app from the app stores to open a new account. To open a new account, the person you are referring should:

  • Be a new customer to SCB Nigeria (i.e has not created an SCB Nigeria account in the past)
  • Have a BVN and valid identification
  • Be eligible for an SCB Nigeria account via the Mobile app (They must be resident in Nigeria).

 I have referred someone, what’s next?

Once the person you referred has:

  • opened his/her SCB account;
  • conducted a transaction from the new account; and
  • Requested for a Free Visa Gold Debit/ATM card,

you will receive your reward of N2,000. This will apply for each person you refer.

Why have I not received my N2,000 reward?

First ensure the person you refer has completed the above required action. Allow 7 working days for us to validate these actions and then we will credit your own SCB account with N2,000.

I’ve been referred by a SCB Nigeria account holder, what should I do?

Simply download the SC Mobile app from the App store, input the referral code you were given in the Referral Code field during the account opening process on the SC Mobile (Additional Details page). Finally, conduct a transaction from your new account and request for a Free Visa Gold Debit/ATM. We will pay the person who referred you N2,000 into their account.

You can start enjoying SCB’s unique Free Banking service and you are also eligible to refer your friends and family to earn the N2,000 Reward.

How many people can I refer?

You can refer as many people as you wish to enjoy the SCB digital banking experience and we’ll reward you for each referral as soon as they complete the required actions on their account. 

Is there any other legal important information I should know?

  • At our sole discretion, we may suspend, terminate or change the terms and requirements of the Referral Program at any time
  • We may suspend your reward if we suspect fraudulent behaviour and irregular/questionable referral patterns
