What is *977# Banking?

*977# USSD Banking is a quick and convenient service that allows you to manage and perform transactions on your SCB account by just dialing *977# from your registered mobile phone number with the Bank. No need for internet data access and it is accessible anytime, anywhere.

Who can use *977# USSD Banking

This service is available to only individual SCB account holders. Joint account holders and corporate account holders are not eligible to use this service

What types of transactions can I perform

With *977#, you can perform quick, convenient transactions and services such as:

How do I register for *977# USSD Banking

To register, simply dial *977# and provide the following details related to your account with SCB:

  • 10-digit account number (Naira)
  • Your Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • Your date of birth

You will then be required to create your 6-digit USSD Transaction PIN and confirm the PIN. On completion, you will receive a successful registration message
