FAQs

Bancassurance is simply a process whereby a Bank refers an Insurance company’s products to its clients. It is all about the distribution of insurance products through various Bank channels.

Bancassurance sales officers in Bank branches will issue out forms to be completed and also signed by you. These forms are standard forms of the insurance company.

The features include:

  • Convenience for customers
  • Saves time and energy by getting financial services from a single touchpoint
  • Expert advice provided by dedicated Insurance Specialists
  • Simplified premium payment process

It’s the same thing, the difference is in the sales model. Insurance is a direct transaction through the Insurance company, Bancassurance is done through Banks.

There are basically two types of Bancassurance business which are Life Insurance and General Insurance.

We have General Insurance Products available with Leadway Assurance Company Ltd {Marine, Motor, Home & Travel Insurance}
