1. What is digital certificate?
Digital certificate is an enhancement to your SC Mobile App, activate digital certificate on your phone to log on to mobile banking without one time password verification. Digital certificate is valid for one year, you need re-activate digital certificate after expiry.
2. What are the benefits of the digital certificate?
Enhanced security – only the ONE authorized device can be used for login.
Fast and Convenient – Activate digital certificate on SC China mobile banking to log on to mobile banking without one time password validation.
3. How do I register for digital certificate?
Please download or upgrade SC Mobile App first. Login with your online banking username and password or Face login/Touch login, and you will be prompted to register the digital certificate.
4. How do I reset digital certificate if I change my phone?
You can only register digital certificate on one mobile device at a time. You can overwrite the digital certificate on the new device, and the digital certificate will be disabled on the old device.
5. What should I do if I lose my phone?
Please overwrite the digital certificate on the new device to disable digital certificate as soon as possible. You can also call customer service hotline 956083 for help. If you are in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, or an overseas area, please call our hotline +86 755 956083.
6. Can I use digital certificate with multiple devices?
You can only register digital certificate on one mobile device at a time. The digital certificate will be disabled on the old device if you overwrite it on the new device.
