About Priority Pass 

  1. What is the Priority Pass programme?

Priority Pass is the world’s leading airport lounge access programme that gives you access to more than 1,000 airport lounges worldwide. It is complimentary for all Standard Chartered principal cardholders of the Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card, Visa Infinite Credit Card and Journey Credit Card.

Application

  1. Who can apply for the Priority Pass programme?

Cardholders of the Standard Chartered Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card, Visa Infinite Credit Card and Journey Credit Card can apply for a Priority Pass membership. Please note that only the principal cardholder is eligible to apply.

  1. How do I apply for the Priority Pass programme?

To apply for Priority Pass programme, simply activate your principal Standard Chartered Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card, Visa Infinite Credit Card or Journey Credit Card and follow the registration steps as shown below using your registered mobile number with the Bank:

Step 3 A one-time unique code will be sent to your registered mobile number with the Bank via SMS within 14 working days to activate your Priority Pass membership.
Step 4 Click here to key in your one-time unique code in the Priority Pass activation link and complete the application to activate your Priority Pass.
Step 5   Download the Priority Pass mobile app from your App Store and log in with your User ID.
Step 6 Your digital Priority Pass is ready to use. 

Your physical membership card will be dispatched within 5 business days of your application being successfully accepted through normal mail.

  1. I have sent the SMS to apply for my Priority Pass membership and received the automated reply acknowledging the successful receipt of my SMS. When can I expect to receive the one-time unique code?

The automated reply is an acknowledgement that the Bank has received your registration for the complimentary Priority Pass membership. If your registration is successful, you will receive the one-time unique code within 14 working days to activate your Priority Pass membership.

  1. What is the purpose of the one-time unique code?

The one-time unique code is tagged to the number of complimentary visits that each applicant is entitled to. Please note that the unique code is strictly valid for a one-time usage only.

  1. I received a rejection SMS message from the Bank. Can I register for a complimentary Priority Pass again?

  1. Can I renew my Priority Pass membership after it expires?

Your Priority Pass membership will be renewed automatically every 12 months from the approval date. During the renewal process, we will validate your eligibility and will inform you of your complimentary visit entitlement via SMS prior to the expiry of your current Priority Pass membership.

A new physical card will be mailed to you when your Priority Pass membership is renewed, and your new expiry date will be reflected in your Priority Pass account. To prevent disruption to your visit during renewal period, please utilise your digital Priority Pass membership card until you receive your physical card.

Please note that if your Standard Chartered Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card, Visa Infinite Credit Card or Journey Credit Card is cancelled, your Priority Pass membership will not be renewed and the Bank will cease the usage of your Priority Pass membership with immediate effect without any notification.

Membership Account

  1.  I have more than one Priority Pass membership. Can I link the accounts into one or tag them to the same Standard Chartered Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card, Visa Infinite Credit Card or Journey Credit Card?

You will not be able to link your accounts and will need to create separate accounts for each membership. All accounts will be reflected in your Priority Pass mobile app with a different Priority Pass membership number. Please log in with the respective membership number for each account. Each Priority Pass membership should also only be linked to the respective credit card used for registration.

  1. Can I use a different credit card that I did not use for registration to tag to my current Priority Pass membership?

Only your Standard Chartered Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card, Visa Infinite Credit Card or Journey Credit Card can be linked to your Priority Pass membership respectively. Your membership will not be renewed if any other credit card is tagged to your Priority Pass account.

  1. I lost my Standard Chartered Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card / Visa Infinite Credit Card / Journey Credit Card, which has since been replaced with a different 16-digits credit card number. Do I need to update my credit card details in my Priority Pass account?

Yes, please update your new credit card details in your Priority Pass account as your card will be used for any applicable charges. Please note that if you fail to update your latest credit card details, you will not be able to use your Priority Pass membership to access the airport lounges.

Log in to your Priority Pass account at  www.prioritypass.com/en/login to update your credit card details under the “My Details” section.

  1. I lost my physical Priority Pass card and would like a replacement card. Who should I contact?

You may contact the Priority Pass Membership Services team by phone or email. For more information, please visit www.prioritypass.com/contact.

  1. I have not received the physical card for my Priority Pass membership. Who can I contact?

  1. I am currently residing overseas. Can I apply using a foreign number?

Only local registered mobile numbers (i.e. Singapore phone numbers) can apply for the Priority Pass membership via SMS. Kindly ensure that the mobile number you are using to apply is registered with Standard Chartered Bank before applying for a digital Priority Pass membership. Please reach out to your Relationship Manager or contact the Bank’s 24-hour Client Contact Centre at +65 6747 7000 for assistance.

Membership Usage

  1. How do I access the lounges after activating my Priority Pass membership?

You can download the Priority Pass mobile app to access your personalised digital membership card and show it to the lounge reception upon entering the lounge. Your physical membership card will be dispatched within 5 business days of your application being successfully accepted through normal mail.

  1. Can I bring a guest into the airport lounge with me?

Yes, you are allowed to admit one guest only under your complimentary visit entitlements. Please note that your guest will be considered as utilising 1 complimentary visit. (I.e., you and your guest will count as two complimentary visits for that one visit.)

  • If you have more than 1 guest, the additional guest(s) will each count as a payable visit. (I.e., your third guest or more will each be charged for their visit as per Priority Pass (A.P.) Limited’s prevailing rates which can be accessed via prioritypass.com.)
  • If your complimentary visit entitlement is exhausted, you (and your guest(s)) will be charged as per Priority Pass (A.P.) Limited’s prevailing rates for every subsequent visit.
  • If you are holding a Priority Pass membership with unlimited visits, you are still only allowed to bring in one guest during each visit. Any additional guest(s) will be chargeable.
  1. Can I take my child into the lounge with me?

Please check directly with the Priority Pass lounge that you are visiting. If allowed, your child’s visit may count towards your complimentary visits or if your complimentary visits are exhausted, your child’s visit will be charged as per Priority Pass (A.P.) Limited’s prevailing rates which can be accessed at www.prioritypass.com.

  1. How long are my Priority Pass membership and complimentary visits valid for?

Your Priority Pass membership and complimentary visits are valid for 12 months from the approval date of your Priority Pass membership.

  1. Can I bring forward any remaining complimentary visits I currently have into my new complimentary visit plan upon my Priority Pass membership renewal?

No complimentary visits can be carried over to the membership’s new visit plan after the membership renewal. (Example: It is not possible to bring forward 3 remaining complimentary visits from the old visit plan into the new complimentary visit plan that has 24 visits.) We encourage you to fully utilise all your complimentary visits before the expiry of your Priority Pass membership.

  1. Will I be charged for using Priority Pass lounges after I have exhausted my complimentary visits?

You will be charged by Priority Pass (A.P.) Limited for every subsequent visit after you have exhausted your allocated number complimentary visits. Such charges will be as per Priority Pass (A.P.) Limited’s prevailing rates which can be accessed via www.prioritypass.com and are applicable to you and your guests.

  1. Why do I have to provide my credit card details to obtain my Priority Pass?

Your credit card details are required as applicable fees will be charged directly to your Standard Chartered Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card, Visa Infinite Credit Card or Journey Credit Card.

  1. Can I access the airport lounge without my Priority Pass?

Lounge access is only available upon presentation of a valid Priority Pass membership card. Please note that not all Priority Pass lounges accept the digital membership card. For lounges that do not accept the digital membership card, you are required to produce your physical membership card. We recommend that you always carry the physical membership card with you during your travels.

  1. I am being charged for a guest lounge visit even though I visited the lounge on my own. What do I do?

In the event of a dispute, a digital or physical copy of a signed receipt will need to be submitted as proof. We advise you to ensure that the details on the digital screen or paper voucher presented to you at check-in to the lounge are accurate before endorsing it. Any errors should be highlighted to the lounge staff prior to entering the lounge.

Priority Pass Mobile App

  1. How do I use my digital membership card?

The Priority Pass digital membership card provides card-free access to majority of the Priority Pass lounges using the 2D barcode found within the smartphone application. However, please note that not all Priority Pass lounges can be accessed with the digital membership card, so we highly encourage you to carry your physical Priority Pass membership card with you when you travel.

  1. How can I check my visit history and the number of complimentary visits I am left with on my Priority Pass membership?

You can download the Priority Pass mobile app and log in to your account to view your complimentary visit entitlement and visit history under the “Account” section.
