Here are some of the key takeaways:
                

1. The portfolio manager has been disciplined and not chasing stocks with excessive valuation but instead have kept cash buffer for deployment into high convictions names. The recent correction has created a good buying opportunity as valuations have become more attractive.
                   

2. The next generation connectivity investment theme is a multi-year phenomenal and only in early stages as countries speed up their 5G connectivity rollout. Malaysia for example, have just recently announced the MyDigital initiative to progressively roll out 5G in the country.
                   

3. From network infrastructure to Internet-of-Things to applications and services, the fund seeks to invest in companies with leading positions in their fields and growth prospect in the coming years.
                        

87% of survey respondents during the live webinar expressed interest to seize opportunities presented to buy into the dip, which coincides with the optimism that YT sees amongst investors in Taiwan and Japan.
