From the menu, select “SC Remit & International Transfers”

Select “Add Payee”

Enter the local clearing code (e.g. TRANSIT NUMBER/SWIFT and search OR search by bank name) and click “CONTINUE”

STEP 5

Key in payee details, review and click “SAVE”

STEP 6

Enter the 6-digit SC Mobile Key and click “CONFIRM”

  • You can remit transfers capped at RM200,000 per day for any Outward Telegraphic Transfer (“OTT) via Online Banking and Mobile Banking.
  • Please have sufficient funds including remittance amount and related charges in your account to ensure successful transaction.
  • Exchange rates and charges applicable is the prevailing rates at the time of the transfer being processed by the bank.

For transactions eligible for ZERO fees, under the Transfer Confirmation screen, you will see the “Transfer Charges” displaying as “MYR 0”.

You can complete the Outward Remittance Application form and submit to any of our branches in person, or simply login to our Online Banking / SC Mobile App to submit your application anytime anywhere. SC Remit ZERO fees campaign is only available via Online Banking / SC Mobile App.

Please prepare the below information:

  1. Payee Bank Account Number. If you are remitting to UK or Europe, please provide the payee’s International Bank Account Number (IBAN).
  2. Payee Account Name. It must be same as the one registered with the beneficiary bank.
  3. Payee Full Address, including province and postal code.
  4. Payee Bank Name.
  5. Payee Bank SWIFT Code (in 11 characters). If you are remitting to the following countries, please obtain the local clearing code from the beneficiary or beneficiary bank:
    • Australia – BSB Code (in 6 digits)
    • Canada – Transit Number (in 8 digits), consists of 5 digits branch transit number and 3 digits financial institution number.
    • UK – Sort Code (in 6 digits)
    • US – ABA Routing Number (in 9 digits)
