  • The share transfer will take up to 4 weeks, as we’ll need to process a pending application sent from your broker.

  • You’d need to open a SmartStocks account and have the corresponding currency settlement account before transfering in your shares.

  • For share transfers watch our tutorial video or follow the step by step process of our digital Share Transfer process:
    1. Sign up to SmartStocks via SCMobile
    2. Access the web version of SmartStocks
    3. Go to account settings and select Share Transfer
    4. Go through the Share Transfer online journey
    5. Once completed you’ll receive a Share Transfer reference number
    6. Let your broker/counterparty know of your share transfer with along with the CDS table provided to you in the share transfer success email.
    7. Done!

  • We do not allow the transfer in of warrants, OTC, sanctioned stocks and shares not listed in out exchange.

  • No change of beneficiary is allowed.
