All domestic transactions at point of sale terminals in Malaysia must be authorized with 6-digit PIN. Signature authorization may still be accepted for overseas transactions except several countries like Australia, New Zealand and Germany has adopted PIN-authorized transactions.
For seamless experience, activate your PIN & PAY card immediately by referring to the step by step guide below. For any bank-initiated credit card replacement, your existing credit card will be de-activated within 90 days.

1. Log on to Online Banking or SC Mobile.
2. Select ‘Help & Services’ then select ‘Credit Card Activation & PIN set’ 3. Select your desired credit card to activate 4. Enter new 6-digit PIN to activate your selected credit card 5. Re-enter your 6-digit PIN, then click ‘Next’ 6. Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number, then click ‘Next’ 7. 2. Select ‘3’ for accounts related enquiries. 3. Enter NRIC number or last 4-digit of your activated credit card for verification. 4. Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) which was sent to your registered mobile number* (RMN). 5. Press “1” for card activation and select credit card(s) to be activated. Reconfirm the card to be activated. 6. Enter your new 6-digit PIN followed by the ‘#’ key. Re-enter your 6-digit PIN to confirm. Note Please press 3 to speak to a client care executive if you are: 1. Non-Malaysian credit cardholder 2. Calling from Non-Registered Mobile Number. |
