Terms and Conditions

  • 1. You will be entitled for double coverage for a number of benefits under Enhanced Road Warrior (ERW) and Travel Care (TC) respectively, provided: 1.1 You purchase both ERW and the TC annual plan together through the Standard Chartered Bank website; 1.2 The purchase is made during the campaign period (1 June 2018 to 31 July 2018); and 1.3 You are from 18 to 70 years of age; subject always to the terms and conditions in the policy wording of ERW and the TC annual plan.   2. The double coverage will be applicable to the following benefits only: 2.1 For ERW – Death/Permanent Disablement, Medical Expenses, Bereavement, Compassionate Cover, Compassionate Flood Cover, Corrective Cosmetic Surgery Benefit and Hospital Income benefits; and 2.2 For TC annual plan – Death/Permanent Disablement benefit.   3. The double coverage will commence 2 days before the eve of the festive seasons listed below and will be effective for a period of 10 days: 3.1 Hari Raya Aidilfitri; 3.2 Deepavali; 3.3 Christmas; and 3.4 Chinese New Year.   For Example, if the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri is 15 June 2018, the double coverage will start from 12 June (2 days before the eve).   4. You will not be entitled for double coverage if ERW and the TC annual plan are purchased separately on different dates.   5. For ERW, your vehicle must be registered with the Road Transport Department Malaysia (Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia) and insured under a comprehensive motor policy in Malaysia.
