From e-CNY Wallet app, you can top up through FPS via SC Mobile App. No need to input the wallet details and can complete the top-up in a few steps.
You have a choice of picking your CNY account to top up directly or convert from your HKD account using our foreign exchange service.
Tap “Top-up” in the e-CNY wallet app and input the top-up amount.
Choose “FPS” as Payment Method.
Select SC Mobile and will open automatically. Login to continue payment.
The amount will be automatically filled in. Choose CNY or HKD account for the transaction. Review and confirm.
You will immediately know whether the top-up is successful.
You will be directed to e-CNY app upon completion.
e-CNY is a digital version of fiat currency issued by the People’s Bank of China and operated by authorized operators. You can use it for payment in retail, transport and other services in supported pilot cities of Mainland China.
You can refer to e-CNY app to understand the latest software wallets which are supporting FPS top-up.
Choose the e-CNY wallet and tap “Top-up” to start in e-CNY app. Follow the on-screen instructions to input the amount in CNY and select FPS as payment method. Select “SC Mobile” to start the topping up journey.
Savings, current, Integrated Deposit Accounts of HKD or CNY supports e-CNY top up . If you select HKD account to perform top-up, there will be a foreign currency exchange.

Each wallet has its own top up transaction limit. The daily top up limit is also subject to the Non-registered Payee Limit in SC Mobile App.
You can check the top-up status via Transaction Records of the e-CNY wallet.
Each e-CNY wallet may have their own minimum top-up amount. Please refer to the e-CNY app for further information. The minimum top-up amount in SC Mobile app is CNY 1 if top up from your CNY account. For the top-up transaction involves foreign exchange, the minimum top-up amount is CNY30.
You can manually switch to e-CNY app and check the status of the transaction.
You can try to re-initiate top-up from the e-CNY app.
