Terms and Conditions for Landlord Liability Insurance

Promotion Terms & Conditions

  1. The promotion period is between 2 Apr 2024 and 2 Jul 2024 (both days inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
  2. During the Promotion Period, successful applicants of the Landlord Liability Insurance of MSIG Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited (“MSIG”) with application and payment made on the MSIG website as accessed through Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) website can enjoy 20% premium discount (the “Promotion”).
  3. The premium discount for Landlord Liability Insurance is only applicable to the first year premium of the policy.
  4. The discounted premium is not exchangeable for cash, other item or voucher of other denomination.
  5. These terms and conditions apply to the Promotion for MSIG Landlord Liability Insurance only and no reference has been made to any other MSIG insurance policy or any coverage or content thereunder. Customers must read, understand and agree to the terms of all insurance policies before applying for the relevant insurance.
  6. The Bank and MSIG reserve the right to alter or terminate the Promotion and/or amend its terms and conditions at any time without notice.
  7. All matters or disputes in relation to the promotion offer and the interpretation of its terms and conditions shall be subject to the decision of the Bank and MSIG, which shall be final and binding.
  8. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions and any details of the promotion offer, the English version shall prevail.
  9. Customers understand and accept that the Bank is not the supplier of the products/ services purchased from the merchant / insurer. The Bank shall bear no liability relating to any aspect of the products/services, including without limitation, their quality, the supply, the descriptions of goods and/or services provided by the merchant / insurer, any false trade description, misrepresentation, mis-statement, omission, unauthorized representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with the products/services provided by the merchant / insurer, its employees, officers or agents.
  10. Landlord Liability Insurance is underwritten by MSIG which is a general insurer authorized and regulated by the Insurance Authority of the HKSAR. Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is an insurance agent appointed by MSIG. To the extent permissible by law, the Bank shall not be liable to any person for the use of any of the information provided by MSIG.
  11.
