We provide Online Banking facility to our savings, current account holders and credit card holders. We are continuously improving our internet banking services we deliver to our loyal customers. Our Online Banking facility allows you to access your account history, transfer funds between your accounts and credit cards, settle bills, and make changes to your contact details along with a host of other benefits.

Services on offer for current and savings account holders:

  • View account summary.
  • Check account transaction history up to one year.
  • View inward remittances.
  • Transfers funds to other Standard Chartered Bank accounts, other banks -locally and internationally.

Request statements.

  • Current account holders may request for cheque books.
  • Set up standing orders.
  • Make utility payments to leading establishments.
  • Make payments to your Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card.

Services on offer for credit cardholders:

  • View transactions you have made since your last statement/payment.
  • View prior statements
  • View your outstanding balance
  • View your minimum due amount and payment due date
  • Settle your credit card dues (if you hold a current or savings account with the Bank)
  • Request for card limit increases
  • Check on card application status
  • Make utility payments to leading establishments.
  • Transfer funds from your credit card to your current or savings account with the Bank
  • Convert your transactions to an Instalment Plan, make your requests to bank at your convenience

Commercial Bank Credit Card payments are not supported.

Instant transfer to other banks on CEFT.

The beneficiary account number must be correct for the transaction to go through.

This is supported 24 hours x7 days of the week.
Rs 50/- per transaction for Personal Banking Clients

Free for Priority Banking Clients
Supports only domestic LKR to LKR transfers.

The beneficiary receives funds immediately any day of the week.

The receiving bank must be connected to the CEFT network

There must be no restrictions on the receiving account on the receiving bank side.

Credit Card payments will be accepted only if the receiving bank has enabled this feature.
Telegraphic transfers Foreign currency transactions are subject to 2 working days for processing after the request has been submitted.

Transactions are subject to exchange control regulations. 
LKR 3,000 / USD 30 for SME and Personal Banking customers.

LKR 2,000 / USD 20 for Priority Banking

Waived for Priority Banking Clients if transfer is to another account at Standard Chartered Bank overseas.
Supports only international foreign currency to foreign currency transfers.

Domestic transfers can also be performed where debit account and credit account are both foreign currency.
Transactions are subject to exchange control regulations.


What’s more, for your security and peace of mind, for certain requests made through Online Banking, an authorization code will be sent via SMS to your mobile phone. On receipt of the SMS, you will need to enter this authorization code to confirm your request.
