Standard Chartered Wins RAM Distinction Awards
Kuala Lumpur, 1 April 2015 – Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad clinched two awards at the recent 12th Annual RAM League Awards, in recognition of its outstanding accomplishments in the Malaysian bond market. They are:
- RAM Award of Distinction 2014 - Market Pioneer: Lead Manager's Recognition for the World's First RMB Bond by a Mortgage Corporation (Arrangers for Cagamas Global Sukuk Berhad)
- RAM Award of Distinction 2014 - Market Pioneer: Lead Manager's Recognition for the First -Sukuk Issuer (Arrangers for TF Varlik Kiralama AS)

The rating agency cited Standard Chartered Bank's leadership, and participation and immense contribution to the Malaysian debt capital markets, both conventional and Islamic.
