
17 August 2015, KUALA LUMPUR – Rahmat Roslan Hashim, Country Head of Human Resources, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia was honoured the 50 Most Influential HR Professionals Award at the recent 6th Annual Asia Best Employer Brand Awards.
The awards program was organised by CHRO Asia, a not-for-profit professional body that provides a platform for HR professionals to meet, network and evolve.
The criteria used in evaluating the nominations include strategic perspective, track record, ability for sustainability, future orientation, integrity, ethics and HR impact.
Rahmat said that the Bank is delighted to be recognized for its efforts in human capital development:
“Our win is in recognition of the conscious efforts we have put into transforming our people practices to provide our talents with the right capabilities to excel both personally and professionally in a conducive, high performing work environment. This recognition will spur us to work even harder not only for the benefit of the Bank, but also to contribute to the country’s drive in enhancing its human capital competitiveness.”
Rahmat added that the award was also a special tribute to all employees of Standard Chartered Malaysia and a celebration of achievement as it coincided with the Bank’s 140th anniversary.
