Government Guarantee Scheme – PRIHATIN is valid till 31 December 2020.

Government Guarantee Scheme – PRIHATIN is a financing scheme guaranteed by Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad (SJPP) to provide relief assistance to SMEs adversely affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Scheme’s 1. Applicable for SMEs with majority shares owned and controlled by Malaysian
Eligibility & Requirements 2. SMEs must be registered under the Registrar of Business Act (1956); or the Companies Act (1965 or 2016); or Limited Liability Partnership Act  2012; or Sabah and Sarawak local authorities and district offices; or statutory bodies that provide professional services.
3. Companies must be categorized as SME as per SME definition issued by SME Corporation Malaysia.
4. The facility shall only be used for working capital and/or capital expenditure for new and additional facilities. The facility cannot be used for refinancing of existing facilities granted by the same or other banks.
5. The minimum financing amount is RM75,000.00 and the maximum financing amount is RM20 million. The financing limit is subject to the combined group limit not exceeding RM20 million for all SJPP guarantee schemes, including this financing.
6. Financing tenure shall be up to 10 years or until 31 December 2030, whichever is earlier
7. Guarantee fee is payable upfront and is subject to the aggregate financing limit
    – up to RM10 million, the fee is at the rate of 0.75% per annum
    – above RM10 million and up to RM20 million, the fee is at the rate of 1.0% per annum
