Terms and Conditions for 2X Rewards offer

  1. Definitions
    i. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India
    ii. Offer: The offer means ‘Qualified Customers will receive 2X reward points on every purchase transaction’ using their Standard Chartered debit card during the Offer Period.
    iii. Offer Period: The Offer Period shall commence from 00:00:01 hours on 1 May 2020 and shall extend up to 23:59:59 hours on 31 July 2020.
    iv. Qualified Customer: The offer is only applicable to a select set of Bank’s debit card holders. Bank’s debit card holders who have received the Offer communication from the Bank and who have successfully carried out the transactions described in the offer will qualify for the offer.
  2. Offer Details
    i. Customer will qualify for 2X reward points if they use their Standard Chartered debit card for purchase spends
    ii. Below table to be referred for campaign benefit calculation

    iii. In case the cardholder cancels any transactions due to which he/she has qualified for the reward points, then those transactions will not be considered in the calculation of the additional reward points.
    iv. This offer is applicable only for debit card holders who have received this communication.
    v. Cash withdrawal will not be considered as an eligible transaction for rewards calculation as part of this offer.
    vi. Qualified customers will receive the offer benefit within 60 days from the date of the end of the Offer Period.
    vii. Queries related to fulfilment of this offer would be entertained only till 30 Oct 2020.

  3. Communication of the offer
    i. The Offer will be communicated to select set of Bank debit card holders only through – SMS and/or email on their registered mobile number or email address, at the discretion of the Bank.
  4. General Terms and Conditions
    i. This is an exclusive offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank. All details regarding the Offer are available on the Bank’s website(www.sc.com/in).
    ii. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in the terms and conditions set out herein, nor those forming part of the Offer communication shall be construed as an obligation on the part of the Bank to continue the Offer up to the date of expiry of the Offer.
    iii. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary.
    iv. The Offer is non-transferable.
    v. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made/continued for any reason whatsoever.
    vi. All disputes under this offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    vii. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    viii. By participating in the Offer, the Participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and those forming part of the Offer communications.
    ix. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Customer, shall be solely borne by the Qualified Customer.
