The Business Essential Account is a Current Account that helps you focus on what you do best – manage your business. It is an account that offers you enhanced transnational convenience with Straight2Bank, facilities like cheque pick-up and even a free international business Debit Card powered by Visa.

  • Straight2Bank (corporate internet banking platform): a web-based platform (via internet) for conducting payments, trade and Forex transactions online.

Based on the average monthly balance, your account will be classified in one of the three balance tiers of Business Essential Account. The tiers are defined as follows:

  • Up to INR 1 Lakh
  • INR 1 Lakh to INR 5 Lakh
  • Above INR 5 Lakh

The transaction pricing will depend on the tier the account falls into. So each month the charges can vary depending on the balance tier maintained – thus being dynamic in nature.

  • Public and Private companies (including closely-held limited companies)
  • Others such as professionals, trusts, associations, societies, etc

You need to submit the following documents at the time of opening your account:

  • Account opening form.
  • Most Important Document (MID).
  • Identity and proof of address.
  • Documents depending on the facilities sought (eg. trade, internet banking, doorstep banking, etc.).

You will be advised of any other documents required at the time of application.
