SPEED-e Facility

Speed-e Facility was introduced to enable faster transactions since the instruction for delivery of securities to broker’s account is required immediately after sale of securities. Speed-e allows customers to submit delivery instructions via an electronic form.

Features of SPEED-e:

  • Account holder can submit delivery instructions electronically through SPEED-e website.
  • The status of execution of delivery instructions is updated online by NSDL, on SPEED-e, which can be monitored by the account holders.
  • Saves time and efforts in obtaining delivery instruction slips and submitting them to Participant.

SPEED-e facility is applicable for:

  • Clients who have their Mobile Number (Indian number) and Email ID registered in their demat account.
  • Individual Clients viz, Resident-Ordinary are eligible to register using the digital registration facility.
  • New registration process applicable for clients with Sole holder demat account. Demat Accounts held jointly are not applicable.
  • All other Clients need to submit physical copy of SPEED-e Application form along with other necessary documents.
  • Clients who have not given POA to Standard Chartered Securities Limited   for 3-in-1 or 2-in-1 accounts.
                                

Registration of SPEED-e:
To register the depository account on the SPEED-e website

  1. Please visit– https://eservices.nsdl.com
  2. Click on ‘New user registration’ select the ‘SPEED-e’ option
  3. Fill in the details as per the process detailed here and click on REGISTER                                                                           

Once your account, application and its information is validated** by NSDL and the Bank, and the SPEED-e facility is activated, we will inform you via email on the ID registered against your demat account. This may take 5-10 working days.            

Once your account is linked, you can submit Delivery Instructions through the SPEED-e website or NSDL mobile application with these steps:

  1. Please visit – https://eservices.nsdl.com. Log into your account.
  2. Select and fill the ‘Delivery Instructions’ and fill in the following details:
    1. Execution date: Date on which you want the securities to get debited from your demat account
    2. Clearing Member (CM) – Pre-notified account of CM to whom securities needs to be delivered***
    3. Market Type and Settlement number under which securities need to be delivered
    4. ISIN of security and quantity
  3. ‘Submit’ your request

**Upon successful validation of OTP, registration request will be sent to Participant for authorisation and request for addition of pre-notified account(s) will be sent to Clearing Member(s) for authorisation, if Clearing Member(s) is registered for the SPEED-e facility.

*** Clearing Member whose CM BP ID is added by Client has to authorise the request for addition of pre-notified account through SPEED-e facility.

Client will be able to access SPEED-e facility after successful authorisation by its Participant and will be able to submit delivery instructions upon successful authorisation of addition of pre-notified account by its Clearing Member.
If the CM which has been added as pre-notified account has not subscribed for SPEED-e facility, then please submit the consent letter to us   for authorisation as per existing process.
