The Standard Chartered Prodigy Savings Account helps you systematically save for the future of your child’s desire. It comes with a debit card for children above 10 years of age.

Standard Chartered Prodigy Savings Account is specifically designed for children below 18 years of age. Child should be Resident Indian and you (guardian) should have a savings account with Standard Chartered Bank.

The Minimum Account Balance required for Child Prodigy Account is INR 10,000.

Children aged 10 and above can opt for the Standard Chartered Prodigy Debit Card. They can withdraw up to INR 5,000 per day from ATMs and at Point of Sale (POS) terminals.

Earn 2 reward points^ on every INR 100 spent on your Prodigy Debit Card. And there’s more, earn 10x rewards on spends done on minor’s birthday.

All eligible spends done the debit card on birthday will earn rewards. Reward Points will be credited to customers rewards account within 60 days of date of transaction.

A minimum of 500 points are required for redemption against the rewards catlogue and cardholder can call Phonebanking to request for redemption.

As per RBI guidelines on Enhancing Security of Card Transactions, your card is currently enabled only in India for POS and ATM transactions. You can enable other transactions (i.e. online, international, and contactless) by visiting the nearest branch.
