Terms and Conditions – Bill Payment offer

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer: The offer means “Use your StanChart card to register and pay your utility bills through Auto Bill Pay/ Standing Instruction and get 10x reward points (Up to 1000 points/month) on all utility bill payments for the next 6 months” as more specifically described in Clause 2 hereunder.
    3. Offer Period: The offer period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 11 Dec 2020 and shall extend up to 23:59 hours on 10 Jan 2020.
    4. Eligible Biller Categories: Electricity, Gas & Telecom.
    5. Qualified Customer: The offer is only applicable to a select set of Standard Chartered credit card holders. Bank’s credit card customers who have received the offer communication from the Bank and who have successfully qualified for the reward by carrying out transactions that qualifies for the offer.
    6. Non – eligibility: Payment made for any biller category apart from Electricity, Gas, Telecom and using any other channel/payment mode apart from Standing Instruction on credit card will not be eligible for this Offer.
  2. Offer Details
    1. Offer is applicable for utility bills paid from SCB credit cards using “Auto Pay” or “Standing Instruction” option for customers who have registered during the offer period.
    2. Customer would be eligible for 10x reward points (up to 1000 points/month) on all utility bill payments for the next 6 months on fulfilment of the offer eligibility criteria.
    3. Maximum reward points will be up to 1000 points per month per customer up to 6 months after first registration within the offer period.
    4. In the event a cardholder has multiple credit cards, transactions across all the cards will be consolidated to qualify for the offer.
    5. The duration of 6 months will be considered from the date of first bill registration.
    6. This offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of Standard Chartered Bank.
    7. This offer is not applicable on Ultimate, Digi Smart, Landmark Rewards and Emirates Co-brand credit cards.
    8. Qualified customers will receive the reward points within 60 days from the date after end of each month.
  3. How to avail the offer
    Credit card customers:

    1. GO to SCB India website (www.sc.com/in) and click on login or download SC Mobile from Playstore or Appstore.
    2. Login or sign up to online banking or mobile banking.
    3. Select Bill Payments under Payments.
    4. Click on “Add Biller” on Bill Payments page powered by BillDesk.
    5. Setup Auto Pay Instruction by submitting bill details and payment instructions.
    6. The utility bills will be paid from your credit card/CASA account automatically from the next billing cycle.
    7. Cash back will be received in your credit card/CASA account within 60 after end of each month.
  4. Communication of the Offer
    1. The offer will be communicated to customers through – emailers and/or SMS on their registered email address or mobile number only.
  5. General Terms and Conditions
    1. This is an exclusive offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank. All details regarding the offer are available on the bank’s website (www.sc.com/in).
    2. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in the terms and conditions set out herein nor those forming part of the e-mailers or running this offer shall be construed as an obligation on the part of the Bank to continue the offer up to the date of termination/expiry of the offer.
    3. Participation in this offer is entirely voluntary and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    4. The offer is non-transferable.
    5. The offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made/continued for any reason whatsoever.
    6. All disputes under this offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the offer.
    8. In all matters relating to this offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    9. By participating in the offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and those forming part of the e-mailers.
    10. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the qualified customer, shall be solely borne by the qualified customer.
