Terms and conditions

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer:The offer means Qualified Customer gets vouchers from top brands like Swiggy, Uber, Myntra, PharmEasy and Amazon Prime (as per details in the table below) on using Banks credit card to buy goods and services for a minimum amount of INR 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) during the Offer Period as more specifically described in Clause 2 hereunder.

    3.  Offer Period:The offer period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 19 Dec 2022 and shall extend up to 23:59 hours on 31 Dec 2022.
    4. Qualified Customer: The Offer is only applicable to a select set of Standard Chartered credit card holders. Bank’s credit card customers who have received the Offer communication from the Bank and who have successfully qualified for the reward by carrying out transactions that qualifies for the Offer.
    5. NRE and NRO cardholders will not be eligible for this Offer.
  1. Offer Details
    1. Qualified Customer must carry out at least one transaction using the Banks credit card to buy goods and services for a minimum of INR 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) each during the Offer Period.
    2. Qualified Customer would be eligible for complimentary vouchers described in the table at point 1.2 on fulfilment of the Offer eligibility criteria mentioned in the Offer communication during the Offer Period.
    3. In the event a cardholder has multiple credit cards, voucher will be at a customer level. In other words, the voucher will not be allotted per credit card and will be allotted at a customer level only.
    4. This offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of Standard Chartered Bank.
    5. Qualified Customers will receive the vouchers within 90 days from the end of the Offer Period.
    6. The following transactions will not qualify for meeting the spends criteria on the credit card: ATM cash withdrawals, fee payments, transaction which is either unsuccessful or cancelled/rejected by the Bank, transactions which are followed up with partial or full reversals or transactions that are cancelled by the card holder.
  1. Communication of the Offer
    1. The offer will be communicated to customers through – emailers and/or SMS on their registered email address or mobile number only.
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. This is an exclusive offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank. All details regarding the offer are available on the bank’s website (www.sc.com/in).
    2. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in the terms and conditions set out herein nor those forming part of the e-mailers or running this Offer shall be construed as an obligation on the part of the Bank to continue the Offer up to the date of termination/expiry of the Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to change, amend or remove the vouchers mentioned in the table at point 1(b) hereinabove by intimating the Qualified Customer about the same.
    3. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    4. The Offer is non-transferable.
    5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made/continued for any reason whatsoever.
    6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer.
    8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    9. By participating in the offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and those forming part of the e-mailers.
    10. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Customer, shall be solely borne by the Qualified Customer.
