Terms and Conditions for Credit Card Offer

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer: The Offer means “Qualified Customer gets 5X reward points upto 5000 reward points on using their Standard Chartered Credit Card during the Offer Period”. Each cardholder will be assigned a unique spend target and against the target assigned the cardholder will be rewarded with 5X reward points maximum upto 5000 reward points on all their Credit Card spends. Details mentioned in clause 2
    3. Offer Period: Offer Period: The offer period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 19 Dec 2022 and shall extend up to 23:59 hours on 31 Dec 2022.
    4. Qualified Customer: The Offer is only applicable to a select set of resident Standard Chartered Credit Card holders. Bank’s Credit Card customers who have received the Offer communication from the Bank and who have successfully qualified for the reward points by carrying out transactions will qualify for the Offer.
    5. NRE and NRO cardholders will not be eligible for this Offer.
  1. Offer Details
    1. Qualified Customers have to transact using his/her Standard Chartered Credit Card during the offer period for minimum unique spend target mentioned in the communication.
    2. Customer will be eligible for 5X reward points on meeting the target spends during the offer period.
    3. Maximum of 5000 reward points can be allotted during the Offer Period
    4. The 5X reward points will be calculated on the existing card features – If customer uses credit card which gives 1 reward point per `150 spent. Then customer will receive 5 reward points per `150 spent during the offer period
    5. In the event a cardholder has multiple credit cards, reward points will be posted at a customer level. In other words, the reward points will not be allotted per credit card and will be allotted at a customer level only.
    6. This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of the Standard Chartered Bank.
    7. This Offer is not applicable on Standard Chartered Landmark Rewards, Ultimate, Emirates, Smart & DigiSmart Credit Cards.
    8. The following transactions will not qualify for meeting the spends criteria on the credit card: ATM cash withdrawals, fee payments, transaction which is either unsuccessful or cancelled/rejected by the Bank, transactions which are followed up with partial or full reversals or transactions that are cancelled by the card holder.
    9. Qualified customers will receive the reward points within 90 days from the end of the Offer Period.

    1. The Offer will be communicated to cardholders via SMS and/or e-mailers on their registered mobile numbers and e-mail addresses only

    1. This is an exclusive offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank. All the details regarding the offer are available on the Bank’s website (www.sc.com/in).
    2. The Bank reserves the right to modify / change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this Offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the Offer up to the termination/expiry date.
    3. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the cardholders that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    4. The Offer is non-transferable.
    5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and / or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
    6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals of Mumbai.
    7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer.
    8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    9. By participating in the Offer, the cardholders agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
    10. The Offer is not transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be en-cashed.
    11. Standard Chartered Bank will not be responsible or liable in case the Offer is not configured or could not be availed due to malfunction, delay, traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website
    12. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the card holder due to provision of the Offer, shall be to the sole account of the card holder.
