Terms and Conditions

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer: Bank credit & debit card holders are eligible for an instant discount upto 10% on spending a minimum amount in a single transaction of value of INR 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) using the Bank’s credit or debit card during the Offer Period. The transaction or the spends should be performed on FirstCry Online / Offline store. Maximum discount is upto INR 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty Only) for credit card and debit card transactions during the Offer Period as more specifically described in Clause 2 hereunder.
    3.  Offer Period: The offer period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 8 March 2023 and shall extend up to 23:59 hours on 12 March 2023.
    4. Qualified Customer: The Offer is applicable to all resident Standard Chartered credit and debit card customers. NRE and NRO account holders with Standard Chartered credit and debit card will not be eligible for the Offer.
  1. Offer Details
    1. Client has to transact using Standard Chartered credit/debit Card in the manner described in the definition of Offers on FirstCry offline / online store.
      Offer 1: 5% discount Spends INR 2000 – INR 3000 Max discount INR 250
      Offer 2: 7.5% discount Spends INR 3001 – INR 4500 Max discount INR 500
      Offer 3: 10% discount   Spends above INR 4501 Max discount INR 750
    2. This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of Standard Chartered Bank.
    3. The following transactions will not qualify for meeting the spends criteria on the credit card:
      Transaction which is either unsuccessful or cancelled/rejected by the Bank, transactions which are followed up with partial or full reversals or transactions that are cancelled by the card holder.
    4. Each card holder would be entitled to 1 transaction per card under the offer period.
  1. Communication of the Offer
    1. The Offer may be communicated to customers through – emailers and/or SMS on their registered email address or mobile number only.
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. This is an exclusive Offer provided by FirstCry and Standard Chartered Bank. All details regarding the Offer are available on the bank’s website (www.sc.com/in).
    2. FirstCry T&C are applicable as well.
      The Bank and FirstCry reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in the terms and conditions set out herein nor those forming part of the e-mailers or running this Offer shall be construed as an obligation on the part of the Bank to continue the Offer up to the date of termination/expiry of the Offer.
      The Bank also reserves the right to change, amend or remove the vouchers mentioned in the table at point 1.2 hereinabove by intimating the Qualified Customer about the same.
    3. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    4. The Offer is non-transferable.
    5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made/continued for any reason whatsoever.
    6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer.
    8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    9. By participating in the Offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and those forming part of the e-mailers.
    10. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Customer, shall be solely borne by the Qualified Customer.
