Terms and Conditions – Instant Discount Offer on Taj Hotel’s 4D and Urban Gateways packages

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank:Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer:The Banks Qualified Clients will get 10% instant discount at Participating IHCL Hotels in India, when bookings for Package 1 or Package 2 are done using the Banks debit or credit cards on satisfaction of the conditions mentioned in clause 2 below.
    3. Offer Period: Bookings and stay period commencing from 00:01 hours on 16 December 2020 and shall extend upto 11:59 hours on 31 March 2020.
    4. Package 1: 4D – Dream.Drive.Discover.Delight. Qualified Client/s can make a booking at Participating The Indian Hotels Company Limited -IHCL Hotels. The Package is inclusive of accommodation, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner and WI-fi for 4 (four) devices.
    5. Package 2: Urban Getaways: Qualified Client/s can make a booking at Participating IHCL Hotels. The Package is inclusive of accommodation, daily breakfast, hotel credits and 20% off on salon and spa services.
    6. Participating IHCL Hotels: IHCL hotels under the brands Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, Gateway and Ama (excludes Ginger).
    7. Qualified Client/s: The Offer is applicable to all Priority banking clients of the Bank having a Standard Chartered credit and/or debit card.
  1. Offer Details
    1. Qualified Client/s have to book Package 1 or Package 2 once during the Offer Period using the Banks debit card or credit card to get the 10% instant discount on Package 1 or Package 2.
    2. The Offer is available only at the Participating IHCL Hotels and bookings are subject to availability during the Offer Period.
    3. The Offer is available on bookings and stay during the Offer Period only.
    4. The promotion rates on Package 1 and Package 2 cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer from IHCL or on negotiated rates.
    5. Bookings of Package 1 or Package 2 have to be made via Taj website at http://tajhotels.com/en-in/offers/scb-special-offer , Taj reservations worldwide or respective hotel reservation offices.
    6. Payments towards booking the Package 1 or Package 2 will have to be made using the Banks credit card or debit card only to avail of the Offer.
    7. Credit card guarantee will be required at the time of booking.
    8. If after making the bookings, the Qualified Client does not show up (i.e. no show) on the booking date, the Participating IHCL Hotels reserves the right to charge the room rate and applicable taxes for the duration of the booked stay on the Banks credit card or debit card provided at the time of the booking.
    9. Extra adults will be charged as per the Participating IHCL Hotels standard policy and applicable rates and taxes.
    10. Additional GST is applicable.
    11. Reservations exceeding 5 rooms on overlapping dates will be considered a group booking; the Participating IHCL Hotels reserve the right to refuse such bookings or to apply special rates. In such a case, group terms and conditions as per hotel policy shall be applicable.
    12. The rates for Package 1 and Package 2 are special rates for the Banks Qualified Clients and not available on bookings made through travel agents and is net-not commissionable.
    13. Hotel Credits cannot be transferred and have to be used during the period of stay under the Offer Period.
  1. Communication of the Offer
    1. The Offer will be communicated to Qualified Clients via SMS and/or e-mailers on their registered mobile numbers and e-mail addresses only.
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. This is an exclusive offer for the Banks Qualified Clients. All the details regarding the offer are available on the Bank’s website (www.sc.com/in).
    2. The Bank or The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank or IHCL also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this Offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank or IHCL to continue the Offer up to the termination/expiry date.
    3. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made voluntarily.
    4. The Offer is non-transferable.
    5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
    6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    7. By participating in the Offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
    8. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Client due to provision of the Offer, shall be to the sole account of the Qualified Client.
