Terms and Conditions for Bill Pay Standing Instruction – Cash back Offer

Definitions

  • Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India
  • Offer: 10% cash back (up to Rs 150 per month per customer) for bill payments through Auto Bill Pay/Standing Instruction registered during Offer Period on Standard Chartered Credit Cards through Bank’s net banking, SC mobile app or Contact center
  • Offer Period: From 01 Aug 2023 to 15 Oct 2023
  • Eligible Biller Categories: Electricity, insurance, mobile postpaid, rental payment, gas, broadband postpaid, landline postpaid, water and DTH.
  • Qualified Customer: The Offer is applicable to select Standard Chartered Credit Card clients who have received the Offer communication from the Bank through email or SMS.
  • Non Eligibility: Payment made for any other biller category apart from those mentioned above and using any other channel/payment mode apart from Standing Instruction on credit cards through Bank’s net banking or SC mobile app in Bill payment platform will not be eligible for this Offer

Offer Details

  • The Offer Period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 01 Aug 2023 and shall extend up to 11:59 hours on 15 Oct 2023.
  • Offer applicable for bills paid from SCB credit cards using “Auto Pay” / “Standing Instruction” option for bills registered for AutoPay during the Offer Period.
  • Offer applicable on new bill registration on Standard Chartered Bill payments platform powered by BillDesk. Existing/old bills registered are not eligible for this offer.
  • Maximum cash back will be INR 150 per month per customer up to 3 months from the registration date. Maximum of INR 450 can be earned during the offer period
  • Utility bill payment categories covered: Electricity, insurance, mobile postpaid, rental payment, gas, broadband postpaid, landline postpaid, water and DTH.
  • Offer is not applicable on Mutual funds, Tax & any other categories not mentioned in the above eligible list
  • Cash back will be received in your credit card within 90 days after the offer period
  • The transactions in the offer period will be considered for eligibility of the offer benefit

How to avail the offer (Existing credit card customers)

  • Go to SCB India website (www.sc.com/in) and click on login or download SC Mobile from Play store or Appstore
  • Login or sign up to online banking or mobile banking
  • Select Bill Payments under Payments
  • Click on “Add Biller” on Bill Payments page powered by BillDesk.
  • Setup Auto Pay Instruction by submitting bill details and payment instructions.
  • The bills will be paid from your credit card automatically from the next billing cycle
  • The status of Standing Instruction successfully registered for a bill can be checked under ‘My Billers’ option in Billpay section
  • Cash back will be received in your credit card within 90 days after end of the payment month.

  • The Offer will be communicated to existing customers through one or more channels from Email or SMS.

General Terms and Conditions

  • This is an exclusive Offer provided by Standard Chartered All details regarding the Offer are available on the Bank’s website (www.sc.com/in).
  • The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this Offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the Offer up to the termination/expiry date.
  • In the event of a cardholder having has multiple Credit Cards, for the purposes of this Offer under no circumstance will the cashback exceed the maximum limit of INR 450(Rupees Four Hundred and fifty only during the offer period) cashback upon consolidation of the transactions across all the Credit Cards of the cardholder.
  • This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of Standard Chartered Bank
  • Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary and it is agreed and understood by the Participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis. The Offer is non-transferable.
  • The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
  • All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
  • The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the The Qualified Customers shall be intimated by the Bank through Email or SMS only
  • In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding. By participating in the Offer, the Participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
  • Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the client due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the client.
  • If the qualified customer deactivates his SCB credit/debit card within 60 days after the beginning of Offer Period, the customer will be disqualified for cash back.
