Paytm First offer Terms and Conditions

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer: Get Paytm First membership free on your new SCB Credit Card by transacting 2 or more times within first 60 days from card setup date.
    3. Offer Period: 05 OCT 2020 – 31 DEC 2020.
    4. Qualified Client: The Offer is valid only for customers who come on the SCB Credit Cards application page from specific inventories on SCB website displaying the offer, between the offer period mentioned above.

    Eligible Products The offer is only applicable to Ultimate, Manhattan, Titanium, Platinum Rewards, DigiSmart credit cards
    Eligibility a. The Offer is valid only for customers who apply on the SCB Credit Cards application page from specific inventories on
    SCB website displaying the offer, between the offer period mentioned above.b. The offer is only applicable to new customers of SCB and existing cardholders are not eligible.
    Offer Apply for a credit card and get Paytm First membership Free on your new SCB Credit Card by transacting 2 or more times
    within first 60 days from card setup date
    Minimum transaction size INR 500 to be the minimum transaction amount on the SCB credit cards to become eligible for this Offer
    Fulfilment timeline Within 60 days from the card setup date. The bank will send the Paytm First Membership e-voucher on the registered mobile number
    or to the registered email address of the clients meeting the Offer terms.  Paytm First Membership terms shall apply.
  3. General Terms and Conditions
    1. This is an exclusive Offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank.
    2. The Bank reserves the right to modify / change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this Offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the offer up to the termination/expiry date.
    3. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the Participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    4. The Offer is non-transferable and cannot be replaced for cash.
    5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and / or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
    6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals of Mumbai.
    7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer. The qualified clients shall be intimated by the Bank through email, sms, call, internet banking or mobile banking only.
    8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    9. In the event of any inconsistency between these Offer T&Cs and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the offer, these Offer T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
  4. Paytm Terms & Conditions
    1. A user is allowed to have only one Paytm First membership at a time. If a user already has Paytm First membership provided via Bank will not be activated.
    2. Paytm First membership code is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance.
    3. Membership Cancellation: A user signed up for First membership through a third party, may need to contact the third party to cancel their membership or receive any refund under its applicable policies. Paytm will not be refunding any amount for the membership.
    4. You may not transfer or assign your First membership or any First benefits, including promotion codes for First memberships or benefits, except as allowed in these terms.
    5. A user can reach out to Paytm customer service team by clicking on the “24*7 Help & Support” tab on the Paytm app and raise the concern for Paytm First membership. All other issues will be raised to Bank’s CST team.
    6. Products and services are subject to availability. Benefits under Paytm first membership are not constant or may vary time to time as per discretion of Paytm.
    7. User agreement and privacy policy on Paytm shall apply.
    8. Paytm will be entitled to reject any claim in case there is any abuse/misuse of the offer by the Beneficiary or the claim is not eligible under the offer.
    9. Bank and Paytm reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
    10. The entire liability of Paytm to a Beneficiary, entitled under the said offer, for any dispute arising in connection with this offer, shall not exceed the amount of discount which was not validly provided to the Beneficiary on the application of Paytm First Voucher code.
    11. Bank and Paytm shall in no way be liable if any beneficiary is unable to login to Paytm due to incompatibility of device, internet usage plans, or any other reason whatsoever.
    12. The offer is valid only if the Beneficiary’s Paytm account continues to be in good standing and not dis-functional due to any reason whatsoever.
    13. Bank and Paytm, its group entities, or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, vendors, shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered or incurred, by the Beneficiary, directly or indirectly, as a result of participating in the offer or by the use or non-use, acceptance or decline or suitability or effectiveness of the services pertaining to the offer.
    14. Nothing herein amounts to a commitment or representation by Bank or Paytm to conduct further such offers.
    15. If the offer and/or anything to be done by Bank or Paytm in respect of the offer is prevented or delayed by causes, circumstances or events beyond the control of or Paytm, including but not limited to computer viruses, tampering, unauthorized intervention, interception, fraud, technical failures, floods, fires, accidents, earthquakes, riots, explosions, wars, hostilities, acts of government or other causes of like or similar or other character beyond the control of Bank or the other entity/ies, then Bank and/or Paytm shall not be liable for the same to the extent so prevented or delayed, and will not be liable for any consequences.
    16. All of Paytm’s and Bank’s actions shall be on a best-efforts basis only.
    17. Beneficiaries agree to be bound by the terms & conditions contained herein. Without a Beneficiary being required to do any further act, he/she shall be deemed to have read, understood and unconditionally accepted the terms & conditions herein.
      a. By participating in the Offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
      b. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the client due to provision of the Offer, shall be to the sole account of the client.
