Pre-Qualified and Pre-Approved Topup on Home Loan & Loan Against Property Offers: Terms and Conditions

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer:Pre-Qualified and Pre-approved Topup on existing Home loan & Loan against property to eligible customers with minimal documents on existing home loans and loan against property.
    3. Maximum Eligible Loan amount: Means the maximum amount upto which a Topup may be sanctioned by the Bank under this Offer.
    4. Offer Period: The Offer is valid till 31st May 2023.
  1. Offer Details
    1. Under the Offer, eligible customers can avail Topup home loan or Topup loan against property only upto the Maximum Eligible Topup Loan amount at the offered Rate.
    2. This Offer is only applicable on existing home loans and loan against property
    3. The Offer is applicable only on existing home loans secured against residential property and Loan against Property secured against residential and/or Commercial properties in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Baroda, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin/Ernakulam, Coimbatore, Delhi and NCR, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata Mumbai/Thane, Nagpur, Pune, Rajkot and Surat.
    4. All borrowers and co-borrowers of the existing home loan and/or loan against property structure need to be part of the home loan and loan against property under the Offer.
    5. The prevailing terms and conditions shall govern the home loan and Loan Against Property and the sanction of the Topup home loan and Loan Against Property shall be at the sole discretion of the Bank.
    6. Statutory charges including without limitation, stamp duty, registration charges, memorandum of deposit charges, franking charges, advocate fees, if applicable are to be borne by the customer.
    7. Bureau checks and other relevant internal checks will be performed upon login of the application and decisioning will be at the sole discretion of the Bank.
    8. The sanction of the Top Up Loan is subject to the discretion of StanChart bank and credit checks. A pre-approval does not guarantee a sanction of Top Up Loan by StanChart bank.
  1. Communication of the Offer
    1. The Offer may be communicated through – SMS and/or Email on the registered mobile number and email address of eligible customers, at the discretion of the Bank.
    2. Customers receiving the Offer communication through SMS/Email, must register by:
      Sending a response using the short code mentioned in offer SMS from their registered mobile number.
    3. The offer may also be communicated/available within My Offers section in Net banking. Customers having offers within My offers can apply for a Loan using Apply Now
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with the Offer, including eligibility. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Offer shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
    2. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    3. The Offer is non-transferable and cannot be replaced for cash.
    4. All disputes under this offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    5. In the event of any inconsistency between these Offer T&Cs and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Offer, these Offer T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
