Terms and Conditions for additional reward points on Standard Chartered Debit Cards

Definitions

  1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
  2. Offer: The Offer means “Earn 50 reward points per transaction on your first three purchases of goods and services, with your Standard Chartered Bank debit card within 90 days of account setup.
  3. Offer Period: 90 days period from the date of Savings Account setup.
  4. Qualified Customer: Customers who receive a communication of this Offer from the Bank and who transact on their debit card to make purchase of goods and services within first 90 days of account setup.

Offer Details

  1. Qualified customers earn 50 reward points per transactions on the first three such transactions with the Standard Chartered Bank Debit Card within 90 days of account setup.
  2. Reward points will be processed within 60 days from the end of the offer period into customer’s savings account.
  3. Withdrawals made at ATM’s will not qualify for the offer and shall not be considered as a transaction or the purposes of this Offer.

Customer Service

  1. In event of any discrepancy in reward points, please contact Standard Chartered Bank phone banking on the numbers given on the website along with a copy of transaction charge-slip/proof of transaction to enable the Bank to resolve the discrepancy. In all such cases the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  2. Qualified Customers must contact the Bank with any discrepancy in receiving the reward points within 30 days of the receipt of reward points.

Communication of the Offer

  1. The Offer will be communicated via SMS and/or email on the customers registered mobile numbers or email IDs at the sole discretion  of the Bank.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. This is an exclusive Offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank.
  2. The Bank reserves the right to modify / change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to
  3.  modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and  conditions, nor shall running this Offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the Offer up to the termination/expiry date. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the customers that participation shall be deemed to  have been made on a voluntary basis.
  4. The Offer is non-transferable.
  5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
  6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
  7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer.
  8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
  9. By participating in the Offer, the customers agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
  10. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating  establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Customer due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the Qualified Customer.
  11. By participating in the Offer, the customers agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
  12. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the client due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the customer
