UPI Autopay Payments Campaign: Terms & Conditions

Definitions

  1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India
  2. Offer: 25% cashback (up to INR 250) on all UPI Autopay payments from 1st September’23 – 30th November’23, where Autopay mandate was registered during the offer period
  3. Eligible Transactions: New registrations on UPI Autopay during the offer period and subsequent transactions from these registrations till 30 days from the end of offer period, will be eligible for a 25% cashback (up to INR 250 per customer per month)
  4. Offer Period: The offer period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 18th September 2023 and shall extend up to 23:59 hours on 30th November 2023..
  5. Qualified Customers: The Offer is applicable to selected Standard Chartered Savings account holders who have received the Offer communication from the Bank through an email or a SMS.

Offer Details

  1. The UPI Autopay transaction amount must be of INR 1 or more in a single transaction to be eligible for 25% cashback every month, where Autopay mandate was registered during the offer period
  2. A maximum cashback up to INR 250 can be earned by a customer per month during the offer period. A maximum cashback of INR 500 can be earned in the offer period
  3. To illustrate with an example –
    If a customer registers on any OTT platform with monthly subscription package of INR 100 on 10th th-Sep-2023 and subscription amount was also debited within 30 days from the end of offer period, then the customer will be eligible for 25% cashback (up to INR 250) during the offer period.
  4. The offer benefit will be credited to Qualified Customers within 60 days after the offer period ends
  5. The cashback will be calculated for all eligible transactions during the offer period, but a customer will receive a maximum cashback of INR 250 per month and upto INR 500 for the entire offer period through this offer
  6. If Autopay mandate is registered and cancelled during the offer period, transactions from such mandates will not be eligible for the offer benefitExample: If a customer sets UPI Auto Pay of INR 350 for electricity bill and sets UPI Autopay of INR 350 for water bill, and if the transactions are completed, then he will be eligible for the offer. Post which the autopay registered by the customer is revoked during the offer period then the customer will not be eligible for the offer however will receive the cashback for only the transactions completed.
  7. Transactions that are reversed or refunded will not be eligible for the offer benefit
  8. Campaign related query from client can be written to SCB till January 2024.

General Terms and Conditions

  • The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this       Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this Offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the Offer up to the termination/expiry date.
  • Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the Participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis. The Offer is non-transferable.
  • The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
  • All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
  • The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer. The Qualified Customers shall be intimated by the Bank through Email or SMS only.
  • In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding. By participating in the Offer, the Participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
  • Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the client due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the client.

Exclusions:

  • Transactions pertaining to wallet loading will not be eligible for the offer benefit. Such transactions will be identified using Merchant Category Codes (MCC)  6540 and/or merchant name received in the transaction request.
