Terms and Conditions – Welcome Offer DigiSmart Credit Card

1. Definitions

1.1 Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.

1.2 Offer: The Offer means Qualified Customers must apply and be approved by the Bank for the StanChart DigiSmart credit card during the Offer Period and get flat INR 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand) cashback in the credit card account, on satisfaction of the conditions mentioned in clause 2 below.

1.3 Offer Period: Period commencing from 00:01 hours on 28-Oct-2020 and shall extend upto 11:59 hours on 30-Nov-2020.

1.4 Qualified Customer/s: The Offer is available only to select set of Bank customers  who have received the Offer communication from the Bank.

1.5 Void Transactions – means any:
a) transaction which is either unsuccessful or cancelled/rejected by the Bank; or
b) transactions which are followed up with partial or full reversals; or
c) transactions that are cancelled by the Qualified Customer.

2. Offer Details
2.1 To be eligible for a cashback of INR 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand) Qualified Customer:

2.1.1. must apply and be approved by the Bank for the StanChart DigiSmart credit card during the Offer Period; and

2.2.2 must transact using the Standard Chartered DigiSmart Credit Card within 60 days of card setup for minimum two transactions of INR 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) each; and

2.2 Transactions can be online or on a point of sale. ATM cash withdrawals will not qualify as a transaction under this Offer.;

2.3 Void Transactions shall not qualify for the Offer.

2.4 Cashback mentioned in 2.1 will be credit to the credit card account of the Qualified Customer within 90 from offer end date.

Communication of the Offer
The Offer will be communicated to Qualified Customers through – emailers and/or SMS on their registered email address or mobile number only.

General Terms and Conditions
4.1 This is an exclusive Offer provided by the Bank. All details regarding the Offer are available on the Bank’s website(www.sc.com/in).

4.2 The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in the terms and conditions set out herein nor those forming part of the e-mailers or running this Offer shall be construed as an obligation on the part of the Bank to continue the Offer up to the date of expiry of the Offer.

4.3 Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.

4.4 The Offer is non-transferable and cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of Standard Chartered Bank, unless expressly permitted by the Bank.

4.5 The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made/continued for any reason whatsoever.

4.6 All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.

4.7 The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer.

4.8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.

4.9 By participating in the Offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and those forming part of the e-mailers.

4.10 Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Customer, shall be solely borne by the Qualified Customer.
