Dual Currency ATM Cards

Standard Chartered’s Dual Currency ATM Card combines RMB and HKD accounts in one card, offering the ultimate convenience and flexibility. Cash withdrawal and purchases in Mainland China are settled from the RMB account, while withdrawals and purchases anywhere else are settled from the HKD account.

Customer Benefits

Purchases and cash withdrawals in Mainland China are posted to the cardholder’s RMB account in RMB, saving any extra expense on RMB FX and reducing the risk of carrying extra cash when travelling to China. This card is not only accepted in China but also at many ATMs and merchants worldwide.

Locally you can perform free transactions at JETCO ATMs and make purchase payments through the UnionPay and EPS networks.

To apply for a Dual Currency ATM Card, please visit your nearest Standard Chartered branch or call us at 2886 8868 (press 2>5>0) for more information.

1. Default daily withdrawal limit per customer

Cash withdrawal/ transfers to accounts not linked to the card/ Jet payment

  • Priority Banking or Premium Customers: HKD 30,000 (or equivalent)
  • Easy Banking or non Relationship Banking Customers: HKD 20,000 (or equivalent)

Electronic Payments

  • HKD50,000*
    *This limit applies to transactions completed through EPS, UnionPay or Maestro Point–Of–Sale terminals. In the event that the ATM card is used to perform any PPS transactions and tax payments via an ATM, this limit will be automatically increased to HKD 100,000

2. The minimum cash withdrawal amount is HKD 100 when using Standard Chartered ATMs, and HKD 500 for other JETCO ATMs

3. When you shop with your UnionPay ATM card, both PIN and signature are required
