Payment to the PM CARES Fund are voluntary and are exempted under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Formal receipts can be downloaded by the donors from the ‘PM CARES’ Portal after 30 days of the successful transaction.
Terms & Conditions
Making any contribution/donation of funds towards the ‘Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund’ (“PM CARES Fund”) by the customer(s) is on a voluntary basis.
The PM CARES Fund is an initiative of the Prime Minister’s office (“PMO”) and Standard Chartered Bank is only authorised to collect contributions/donations in name of PM CARES Fund.
The disbursement and utilization of the amount donated by the customer(s)/donors will be the responsibility of and be in accordance with the terms of the PM CARES Fund. Standard Chartered Bank is in no way responsible for the same.
The amount once donated by the donors to the PM CARES Fund shall not be refunded by Standard Chartered Bank under any circumstances.
